  • Phoenix Zoo Overnight

    Campers get ready to navigate around the zoo like you never have before...at night!!! The theme for the night is STEM at the Zoo! Campers will discover how nature inspires us to create things for it and from it! Using the engineering design process, campers will be challenged to create a prototype of a new invention for an animal at the Zoo. This overnight is open for 3rd through 8th graders only.  Dinner will be served at 5:15 pm at the District Office-Ben Furlong Education Center. The bus will depart promptly at 6:00 pm on Friday, parents will need to pick children up no later than 9:00 am on Saturday morning at the Phoenix Zoo.  Each child who has attended the overnight does have free access to the park all day Saturday, other family members would have to pay the regular entrance fees.The transportation permission slip AND the zoo waiver/permission slip will be sent upon registration.  Both forms* must be turned in for a child to be able to attend.Registration includes a Night Camp T-shirt!Additional Overnight Camp Information . *Overnight Permission Slips are required to participate and will be sent out upon registration.
