Building Bonanza - Engineering & Robotics 1 - 7 $172.00 Teach your LEGO bricks new tricks in this exciting LEGO Engineering camp! We will explore the 6 Classical Machines and build projects that help us explore the foundations of all modern marvels. We will also use LEGO Mindstorms® Robotics to learn how to program and build the automated machines of the future. Projects will use a mix of standard LEGO and LEGO Technic® parts. Camp will challenge students to develop teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills while they learn STEM concepts and work to solve challenges with creative solutions. Students entering 1st through 7th grade can attend this camp, but smaller LEGO TECHNIC parts and robot programming may be frustrating for younger 1st graders. Students should bring a water bottle and a snack and leave their own LEGO at home. All other supplies are provided. There are no take-home projects. Please let us know if your child has a latex allergy on your registration, as a project uses a latex balloon.
Mad Science - Moving with Science 1 - 5 $228.00 Do you love to build, design and fix things? Are you curious about how a reaction happens? What is the true nature of birds and beasts? Campers explore activities in engineering, math, chemistry, and biology that they could encounter in their daily life. They will see just how natural science is in our world!
Playwell - Wildlife Wonders using LEGO® 1 - 5 $172.00 Design and build your way through the animal kingdom, from sea to safari, using tens of thousands of LEGO® parts. With the guidance of an experienced Play-Well instructor, you’ll recreate diverse habitats while crafting animals in their natural surroundings. Your animal adventure awaits!
STEAM: Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math! 3 - 5 $176.00 Each day students will explore different ways of observing and interacting with our world. Students will design and construct models, explore and create art and how it connects to science, and examine how engineering and art are part of nature.
STEM Learning with Edison Robots 1 - 5 $176.00 Students will be empowered to become not just coders, but inventors, problem solvers and creative thinkers. With Edison’s sensors and expandable build system pathways to learning will be opened up across math, science, critical thinking, engineering, design thinking and more.
World Cruise Camp™ by Challenge Island 1 - 5 $172.00 Set sail for imagination and adventure with this World Class camp! You and your first mates will design a cruise ship and embark on a voyage around the globe. You’ll engineer your way through the world’s most popular ports: From the Alaskan Glaciers to Ancient Greece to the Canals of Venice to the Galapagos Islands. See you on the Lido Deck for our Sail Away Party and STEAMtastic High Seas Adventure!
