The classes are designed to build the swings of each participant so they enjoy golf participation and can play on the golf course with friends or family. Instruction focuses on the proper technique of the four main strokes used in golf; putting, chipping, pitching, and full swing. In addition to the technical instruction provided on the strokes some lessons include elements of athletic training such as balance drills, core rotational drills and foot stabilization exercises. Additionally some classes have time allocated on learning more about the game of golf with worksheets and handouts that explain key golf terms, how to fill out a scorecard and basic rules and etiquette associated with playing on the course.
