  • Phoenix Zoo Overnight

    Campers get ready to navigate around the zoo like you never have before...at night!!!  As Night Camp Explorers, campers will be given clues throughout the night and use basic orienteering skills to find their way to their next great experience. The theme for the night is Desert Survival!  In this program, using the scientific inquiry process, and with a focus on local species, campers will examine the adaptations that allow animals to survive in the desert  This overnight is open for 3rd through 8th graders only.  Dinner will be served at 5:30 pm at the District Office-Ben Furlong Education Center. The bus will depart promptly at 6:00 pm on Friday, parents will need to pick children up no later than 9:00 am on Saturday morning at the Phoenix Zoo.  Each child who has attended the overnight does have free access to the park all day Saturday, other family members would have to pay the regular entrance fees.The transportation permission slip AND the zoo waiver/permission slip will be sent upon registration.  Both forms must be turned in for a child to be able to attend.Registration includes a Night Camp T-shirt!Additional Overnight Camp Information & Overnight Permission Forms
